These front shafts have a spline stub shaft that has a 100mm GKN fixed on one end with the other end traveling into the female sleeve welded on the tubing. The other end is a fixed weld yoke and flange that is staked from the factory. We have purchased some OE shafts and have also been rebuilding cores. We have new parts in development to eventually build these all brand new, so we have decided to not do a core exchange any longer. Shafts ordered may be either the factory shaft or the rebuilt. The advantage of the rebuilt is that it has a 1310 ujoint vs the factory shaft which has a staked ujoint.
