RING & PINIONS
Ring and pinion gears work in together with the drive shaft to create torque for the drive wheels. This happens seamlessly whenever the driver presses the vehicles accelerator. The ring and pinion and drive shaft are attached by a yoke and therefore must turn together to generate enough torque that creates the power that moves the wheels forward.
